A huge share of Japanese vocabulary is Sino-Japanese — and so is Korean.일본어 어휘의 상당수는 한자어이고, 한국어도 그렇습니다.

The app ranks every word by a five-tier "transfer grade" — how close its sound and meaning sit to the Korean word built from the same Chinese characters. Words in the easiest tier (T1) already make up 5,310 of the 9,511 cards, so more than half the vocabulary arrives sounding like something you already half-know. 모든 단어에 5단계 '전이 등급'을 매겨, 같은 한자로 만들어진 한국어 단어와 소리·뜻이 얼마나 가까운지 보여줍니다. 가장 쉬운 등급(T1)만 해도 9,511개 중 5,310개 — 절반 넘는 단어가 이미 반쯤 아는 것처럼 들립니다.

Each of the 1,809 kanji also carries its Korean Hanja sound side by side with its Japanese on'yomi — 1,808 of them — so you see directly why 年 sounds like "년" in Korean and "ネン" in Japanese, instead of memorizing the two as unrelated facts. 한자 1,809자 중 1,808자에는 일본어 음독과 나란히 한국 한자음이 붙어 있습니다. 年이 한국어로 '년', 일본어로 'ネン'인 이유를 따로 외우지 않고 바로 눈으로 확인합니다.

Words come out of 29 chapters in small daily batches instead of one long list, so a session fits on the train. 29개 챕터에서 하루치씩만 꺼내 오므로, 지하철에서 끝낼 만큼 짧게 학습합니다.

The app assumes you can already read hiragana/katakana and focuses purely on vocabulary — it's not a from-scratch beginner course. 히라가나·가타카나를 이미 읽을 수 있다고 전제하고 어휘에만 집중합니다. 처음부터 배우는 입문 강의는 아닙니다.

Do I need an account?계정이 필요한가요?

No. There is no sign-up and no login. Progress is stored locally on your device. 아니요. 가입과 로그인이 없습니다. 학습 기록은 기기에 저장됩니다.
